About Jeremy
Jeremy Norton is an educator from central Florida. He has been a faculty member at Lake-Sumter State College since 2005, currently serving students as Associate Professor of Political Science. Jeremy gave a TED talk at TEDxLSSC on the topic of Community Democracy. He once ran, unsuccesfully, for Lake County Water Authority. In 2020, Jeremy was named the Professor of the Year by the Association of Florida Colleges. He enjoys going on adventures, learning new random things, and eating delicious foods. Jeremy lives in Tavares with his wife, two teen kids, and two cats.
